About Us

Founded in 2014, Udayanath Charitable Trust (UCT) works for the welfare of residents of Dagarasahi & neighbouring villages in Cuttack, Odisha. We believe that Social Development is one of the key factors that influences our future and therefore we aspire to have a positive impact on society by being a catalyst of change whereby every person has the opportunity to achieve his/her fullest potential and participate in and contribute to all aspects of life.

UCT’s objectives also include promotion of mental & physical wellness through age old practices of Yoga, Ayurveda & Naturopathy.

Vision

Our focus is on the underprivileged sections of society, women, elderly, homeless and children. For children, we ensure that the core values of dignity, honesty and respect are imbibed by each one to become self-reliant and good and caring human beings.
Enhancing human health and wellness by advancing the profession of Naturopathic medicine. To promote Naturopathy and Yoga in treating diseases. To create an environment in which all people have pathways to health and opportunity.

Mission

1. To empower people, in particular, women, youth and children by enhancing their own strength for earning their livelihood through relevant education, innovative healthcare and livelihood programmes.
2. To provide holistic Naturopathy treatment which focuses on the mind, body, and spirit.

Promoters/ Trustees

The Trustees are dedicated senior citizens who have had successful professional careers in different fields, viz, finance and banking, corporate management, consultancy, academics, healthcare etc. They are bound by a common commitment and cause of making a positive impact in the lives of underprivileged sections of the society, especially women and children. Drawing upon their vast and varied experience, they guide, inspire and support the activities of the Trust and its committed team of volunteers and staff.
