Hydrocollator

A Hydrocollator machine is a thermostatically controlled device used to heat water in a stainless steel tub. It is commonly used in physiotherapy clinics to provide heat therapy to patients for pain relief. The machine heats water in the tub and is used to warm Hydrocollator packs. The packs are usually made of high-quality jute bags filled with sand, tightly stitched and transformed in the shape to cover respective body parts. The heated packs are wrapped in towels and applied to patients for 30 minutes to provide moist heat therapy. This increases local temperature, circulation, and tissue extensibility while relieving pain and muscle spasms. Controlled warmth from the Hydrocollator promotes relaxation, soothes muscles, and provides effective pain relief.
